ABSTRACT
This journal explores the role of the Cra Canal in Thailand and investigates whether economic or political motives drive its construction. Employing the liberal framework in development, sea power theory, and maritime economic concepts, this research analyses the project's impact and implications on the region. The research methodology involves a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing interviews and document analysis. The findings of this study aim to provide insights into the political and economic dynamics in the region and their implications for international relations.
